It's a Renogy 2000 watt inverter/charger with a 30 amp transfer switch built in it. Solar is keeping battery bank charged. But when I plug into shore power inverter goes into boost mode, dip switch is on correct setting for my battery bank. I've read the directions but I guess I'm just not getting it. When not plugged into shore power and inverter is in the on auto position there is no ac to outlets until I turn on something then they are all hot. But when plugged into shore power, inverter off no power to any outlets, inverter in auto and every outlet is hot even without a load on. Everything works great I'm just concerned what happens if the inverter dies. Will I have power with GEN.
