if you absolutely must have a by pass available (for peace of mind) take it back to the shop, and have them rewire the inverter input and output with plugs
then IF it ever failed, you could unplug the RV power from the inverter and plug it into the socket the inverter is using
its the same way RV MFG used to do rv gensets and shore cord before the advent of the use of automatic transfer switches
its manual, its simple, and its fool proof
