Solar questions for small RV roof

My current systems, or whats left of them are portable and I can't complain about the power available but I do look forward to getting something mounted for convenience eventually. That's the trade off, portable and tracking for max power whenever the sun shines, but you have to deal with the hassle of handling and storage OR hands off and convenient but lose a good chunk of power daily just to be lazy. My plan is to mount enough on the roof that I wont miss the power of the portables.
