If it was me, I'd ditch the controller and buy a better one that allows adjustable settings. With a maximum input voltage of 25 VDC, it might not last that long, anyway.
I am not wanting to throw away a $50 controller to take care of a couple of 50 watt panels and two deep cycle batteries. I am not a solar hobbyist, just someone who wants a reliable source of small amounts of 12 DC power.
