Soldering instead of crimping
Hi, Would there be any reason not to solder battery connections versus crimping? The application would be for a solar charging system. Moved to Tech Issues forum from DIY.

I got help wiring my diy van from an industrial electrician friend.
He flatly refused to allow me to solder anything. Crimps are better with vibration and in any kind of short situation.
