[SOLVED] Lubricate Dometic element before replacement?

I'm replacing the element in a Dometic fridge. It was quite stiff pulling out the old element and I'm concerned I won't be able to slip in the new one. Is there a high temperature lubricant such as pe...

You would think so, but it’s now even more stuck than the old. Won’t go up or down. Pulling it I had more leverage but pushing it back in, it’s now jammed. Wish I had used a lubricant :-(
