SOLVED!....sort of. Where's there's spark.. there's no fire!

California version white is the tach output. Federal version goes to air controller. More apt to be CA version.
Pink comes from the ignition switch.
If you have an Ohm meter check the resistance of the coil.
Between white and pink going into the coil should read less then an Ohm.
Between the rotor button and the bat terminal(pink) should be between 6000-30,000 ohms.
