I had the same inclination as wnjj yesterday afternoon. Got back to camp at bedtime and checked the distributor. Clamp bolt plenty tight... but... I could see a scratch about a quarter inch long. It's been 9 years... 10k miles since I last timed her. Scratch seemed too fresh to me. And the math worked out.
My father said no way.
Bigfootford said he had seen it only once. Dry bushings.
This morning I turned her back................. fired right up. Road tested. So far so good.
