I know where you got those 12SI pics. I was on that page last evening. They're another in the mass of "experts" that says the turbine is superior.
Since you are the only one (that I can find) saying otherwise, it's a bit tough to reconcile....... that is if you hadn't so proven yourself to me over the years as a trusted adviser on subjects of the like. Not to mention you and Bigfootford were the first to call the distributor as the most likely candidate in my ordeal, here.
But I digress...
One thing that page also mentions is the difference in size of the air vents. The 12SI clearly has a bigger opening than the 130.
As soon as I get a chance to run over to check out the clearance, mounting and belt situations, I'll decide whether or not to upgrade the 12SI or sub in a 144. Then I'll call my local guy and see if he understands the things you said he should. If not, then I'll call your boys in WA.
Now... if you answered this question already... then it went over my head...
Is it possible to update the 66A 12SI to a 94 while employing a stator that would meet your satisfaction?
Or is it impossible to (satisfactorily) update a 66A beyond 78?
Or...?
