Whoa son!
That silver plated unit is the one.
Bad internet didn't fill out the photo enough for me to see it until now.
Next stop is to get spacers. The originals won't work. When assembled the plate has to fit within a mete few thousandths of an inch away from the ring on the face of the 12SI housing. The answer lies in Ford and GM spacers not only the ones in front of the bearing but also the spacer between the rotor itself and the bearing inside the alternator. On yours, use the original inner spacer, then between the bearing and fan that is the critical spacer. The fan cannot rub the housing nor can it be so wide as to place the fan away from the housing ring leaving a large gap. Make sure you use your original spacer that goes behind the pulley. The pulley to fan must not have any gap whatsoever. If you can salvage a large wave washer which is OEM on early DELCOS use it. This all reads far harder than it really is. Given the right spacers assembly takes 10-seconds including an air gun to tighten the pulley nut. The rotors are SOFT. Go reasonable on the pulley nut tightening.
