Yea, I never use that. After just messing with the wiring it seems like I had a total load of almost 5 amps with nearly 3 amps (Much better than nearly ten) from the fridge itself(I can tell because I can hear it light when I connect it.) That still seems really high for a refrigerator on propane and makes it so we can't have much but the lights on or we'll be flat in the morning.
Perhaps there's a short in the climate control heating element that's causing it to draw too much current. Regardless, when you're dry camping this element should be turned off anyway, the problem being that in recent years Dometic removed the switch on some models that allows you to do so. Unfortunately you haven't told us just which fridge you have - the older RM2652 / RM2682 series did have this switch, the newer RM2652 / RM2682 does not, including my own which was manufactured in 2013. The solution is to add your own switch just as I did.

In the short term just cut the heavier of the 2 red wires that go to the interior light switch and that will cut power entirely to this climate control heating element. If the fridge is still drawing excessive power then you obviously have another issue - regardless, that heating element should be disabled whenever you're running on battery power.
