Something pulling 10 amps from 12v

So my batteries came up flat a day or two ago and we pretty only boondock and we careful with our usage so this was very weird, we usually don't get below 12.2.

So I got my my multi meter out and I had a light go out about a week ago so I automatically assumed it had to do with that fuse and sure enough it was. It runs both slides, the fridge (which I have in gas without the defrost on), and that one light in the slide. I'm at a loss for what could be causing it.. Since it runs the fridge it's not like I can just pull it and deal with it later. Please help!

  • It's as soon as I hear it light. It's down to about 5 amps now after rewiring it back up....I'm lost.
  • It did. It's either a RM2652 or RM2852. I'm not sure what the difference is but that what is says in the manual.
  • DC for fridge....

    Could be bad circuit board
    Could be bad gas solenoid
Could be bad harness between lower board and upper display

Surprised DC Fuse on circuit board didn't blow.....or did it?

What model is that Dometic Fridge
  • Disconnect wires at the light and then retest.

If still high amp draw....disconnect DC wires going to slide in junction box on slide then retest

    Disconnect DC wires at fridge...retest

    Process of elimination.
  • Well, I isolated it to the fridge. I disconnected the power to it and bam back down to a little more than an amp with basically everything off. What would cause? I have a Domestic fridge.
