Check out this link for the X10 Home Automation modules and controllers.
I have been using these for years and they are not all that expensive...
X10 MODULES
These are based on 120VAC use but works fine with INVERTER setups.
The X10 motion sensors are battery operated... I have one on each side of my OFF-ROAD TRAILER and they will turn on anything I have plugged into the 120AC controller. I have my awning lights on one channel.
I also use a personal key fob that activates any of the sensors...
Can walk away from the trailer to go to the bath room and can trip the awning light over a 100-feet away with the KEY FOB.
I have full control from my bedside night table to turn on/off my night lights inside the trailer and awning lights all from the KEY FOB laying on the night table.
