KenFecher - Do you have the name and model number of the speakers involved? Based on that information, we may be able to suggest some speakers to help balance you out. Personally I'm a huge fan of JBL marine speakers and Polk Audio marine rated. Both are very efficient with sensitivity levels of 91 db and 92 db respectively.

Ken: Every time someone mentions outside light, radio, starting Diesels, Dogs, Kids, and a whole list of others, even though not even remotely related to the thread, someone HAS to come along and state their distaste for something or another even though they have no clue whatsoever where and/ or how you camp. This is particularity irritating when it happens in a pure tech forum. So just ignore them even though they won't go away. Good luck on the L-Pads
