Basically I have a 50 amp service in the back left of the RV with one of those Round connections. All I want to do is disconnect it, and run a new line so its in the storage bay. I will be installing a new round Marinco plug in the storage bay, and using my 50 to 30 amp adapter to use a much easy to handle 30 amp cord. We only have 1 AC so need for 50 amp will be rare.
In the Marinco plug you'll connect both 50A hots to the 30A hot. What you have just created is the standard 30A male to 50A female adapter which is perfectly safe.
