I should mention folks who clean out burned conductor holes with sharp screwdriver edges. It absolutely removes the tin coating. Most people dump their rig before that becomes a problem or only lightly load their electrical system. But there's a limit and the penalty can be awe inspiring. I could have built Quicksilver with household grade junk but I went with plated bussbars and Klixon marine breakers. 10/3 marine wire. And ended up with a 15 amp shielded socket for plugging in and connecting. The 3 GoldStar A/C units saved my rear end.
