Spring perch to bushing gap
How much is too much? Im measing about 1/8” gap on my most forward and rear spring perches. Inside of perches measure 1 7/8” wide and busings look to be 1 3/4” wide

- No plastic bushings. I has them all upgraded to Dexter HD shackles and wetbolt kit a couple years ago
- When I had a TT I yanked all the springs and replaced them with bronze bushings with zerk fittings. Never regretted it.
- Not likely a problem. The real problem is the plastic bushings used at each joint. They might last 5 thousand miles at best. When they wear the shackle bolts wear spring eyes until something breaks.
