Stainless propane hoses
Has anyone used stainless propane hoses to connect tanks to changeover valve ? Did they get hard as a rock like rubber hoses or did they stay reasonably soft and pliable ? thanks

Isn't a stainless hose just a rubber (or similar) hose with a protective stainless braid on the outside? It's flexibility in cold weather would depend mainly on what the inner hose part is made out of. There wouldn't be an improvement over equivalent non-armored hoses.
