Stainless propane hoses

Has anyone used stainless propane hoses to connect tanks to changeover valve ? Did they get hard as a rock like rubber hoses or did they stay reasonably soft and pliable ? thanks

Check with sa HYDRAULIC hose shop like THE PARKER STORE. Stainless braid over TEFLON hose.
