Stainless propane hoses
Has anyone used stainless propane hoses to connect tanks to changeover valve ? Did they get hard as a rock like rubber hoses or did they stay reasonably soft and pliable ? thanks

thanks Seems to me they were recommended by someone that makes their living at the rv repair trade.
I read the entire thread before I shovel on the sarcasm....
"Some would have you believe the hype, that there is something special about hose that carries propane. Years ago I ran propane thru a garden hose for 2 + yrs, no ill effects to the hose whatsoever. Since that time, I have used nothing but automotive fuel injection hose to plumb everything on the low pressure side in my RVs,.....cat heaters etc. 14 yrs later moved it all to next RV, and that hose is just as soft and pliable as new.
Truth known, "propane hose" is nothing but cheap junk !
Even the cheap clear vinyl hose from any hardware store is better for LP propane than the cheap hi $ propane junk. And don't ask me how I know that to be fact !"
