Startup (inrush) of 2.7 cu ft refrigerator?

If you can find a data plate, look for the LR (locked rotor) rating. That would be the absolute upper end. Unless you have a high end meter or an oscilloscope, putting an ammeter or a Kill-A-Watt meter won't give you an accurate reading.
