Pam is nothing more than light cooking oil and propellant. Sure it will work, but so does WD40 or any of the other spray lubricants found in Auto parts stores. The big problem with all of them is besides the greasy residual left is they all will attract dirt. Which eventually you will have to clean up. I personally like my dry lubricants much better thank you.
