Suburban furnace will not light after thermostat install

I installed a new Hunter Model 44133 thermostat that was given to me. This is a 5-2 programmable thermostat. The wiring diagram is the same as the Hunter 42999 thermostat that is non-programmable. ...

As far as the furnace cares- all the thermostat has to do is supply 12 volts to the thermostat lead- that's the first thing to check. If it's there, the problem is the furnace. If it isn't, the problem is the thermostat.
