I doubt propane delivery has anything to do w/ the problem.
When you turn on the switch, the control board sends timed power to the gas valve, and also sends power to the spark electrode at the same time, and the burner lights up.
In a few seconds the flame sensor (same as spark electrode) tells the control board to supply continuous power to the gas valve, and also to shut off power to the igniter. So if the gas valve is shutting down, and the spark keeps sparking, 3 guesses as to what the problem mite be :)
