The Suburban uses the standard LP wall switch your existing Suburban uses. They also offer an UPGRADE wall tstat system that requires different wire connections. You just joined and did not ask, but as someone who has installed various RV On Demand and has had to work on them, you are making a bad choice. MOST RV'ers with On Demand from the factory, wish they had your original tank water heater. I would NOT have any type LP on demand water heater in my RV. They just do not work reliably. I usually replace On Demand with a Tank Water Heater per customer request. Doug
