my minilite 22 forest river has (Sw6de) 1 sw inside next to waterpump labld heater w red lite. took me over a year while parkd before l realized l could bypass gas and use elec. hot water. after burning out 2 elements. granted mine was 14 years old and manual was no help. only utube videos and reading this blog did l fully understand. to use my water heater on 110v. elec l lv inside sw. off and mk sure sw on outside lower left on heater on. breaker inside for hw 15 amp is on. l control gas to elec with this breaker and lv heater sw next to water pump off for elec. turn it on for gas. only. if l want both gas/elec to run concurrent l turn breaker on and heater sw on. after reading many explanations about suburban water heater issues l hav a few bones to pick with forest river and suburban about this jabberwooky. note if inside breaker is off for elec side usage why does it matter if ouside toggle sw below gas valve is off. lve read only turn off when tank draining. any comments will be appreciated.
