Suburban water heater wont relight after first start
If you turn the switch off and back on it restarts but wont otherwise. Its in a new to us camper so history is unknown. Could it be a faulty thrrmostat? Testing method? Thanks in advance.

I let the tank cool down and had the wife run some hot water. I stood by the heater and it made no noises. Finally the fault light came on. I had her cycle the switch off and on and it lit up immediately. I guess in a way its a built in gas saver. Its easy enough just to cycle the switch once in a while begoe you need hot water.
