Is it worth it?, depends on how you camp and what you are trying to protect. I have an 18 year old MH and dry camp 95% of the time. The converter is the old Magnateck 950, analog TV which I seldom watch my refer would be the only thing that I would worry about. Seldom use the AC's, north in summer and south in winter. So depending on how you camp and what kind of electronics are you trying to protect would have to be answered first
