Surge Protection
I have been using surge guard model 44270, today I purchased a model 35550. I am not sure what the big difference is, neither is resettable after a surge. Must be replaced.Am I missing something?

Consider moving to an "intellegent" EMS (electrical management system). Progressive Industries makes 30- and 50-amp models in both in-line and hard wired. They protect against all sorts of things such as spikes, over- and under-voltage, polarity issues, ground faults, etc. The systems will take your rig off-line and will reconnect when the issue is resolved. We wouldn't be without one.
