surge protector question

our 5th wheel is 50 amp due to being pre wired for a second air and
washer/dryer which we dont have,, question is : is there a surge protector that will work for both 30 and 50 amp? if 50 amp is available we use that, but if only 30 amp is available we us that,,,
mostly using 50 amp,, it seems like most campgrounds have 50 available,,

    We bought the 50a EMS hardwired unit despite the fact that we will never be plugged into 50a around where we camp. I wanted the option to upgrade if needed. I use a marinco 50-30a adapter and cord for all trips and leave our 50a cord at home. It likely wont see the light of day till I sell the rig

    I have found Dyers to be the cheapest and they have "free" shipping

    and after comparing the TRC, Progressive, and Camco, its obvious that the Progressive is the best, with a lifetime warranty

    Buy the 50amp EMS in case you add the things later the 50 amp EMS will work if your hooked to 50- 30-or 20 amp.

    We have the EMS-PT30C from Progressive and with the proper adapter it will handle 50Amps. A bit pricy but if it saves your RV just one time it has paid for itself, in addition it comes with a lifetime warranty.

    The Progressive Industries HW50C is an excellent unit or check their portable unit. Works equally well on 30A or 20A.

    They all work on both 50 and 30 amp. Just use the right adapter.
    I highly recommend 50 amp for a 50 amp RV.
