Just got my PI 30 amp portable a couple days ago. About $230 with shipping.

The unit I had from TRC earlier this month didn't last 24 hours. They use a grommet at the top of their box for cable entry. Water got past it in a light rain within 3 hours. It was oriented vertically, per their instructions. You could see the moisture inside through the LED window. Camper World was nice enough to take it back for a full refund. PI uses a threaded connector with an o-ring for cable entry. I have much higher expectations from the PI assembly, but I've yet to use it.
P.S. I have a Ford pick-up and a Chevy van. I try to pick the right tool for the job. I should have researched surge protectors a litte more before my TRC purchase.
