Don't bother with this one. It doesn't have the joules that the bigger ones are rated for. There are power strips that are better than it.
but it has under/over protection, etc. normally $250 now $99?? don't understand that. yeah you do. There are tightwad RVers out there that buy the cheapest stuff.

Below is the $99 one. I wouldn't buy it. I like how the description says 2,000 amps and the specs say 1,250 amps. Hmm...
Economical surge protection. No installation--just plug it in. Provides multi-mode protection with 510 joules of suppression. Protects RV from faulty park power. Resists spikes up to 2000 amps. Protects against electrical fires and shocks by detecting current leakage in the 8-10 milliamp range, interrupting flow within one nanosecond. Automatically shuts off the power when ground faults are present. Requires manual reset after a ground fault. Weather-resistant. Convenient Easy-T-Pull handles. Best used on entry level Travel Trailers and Pop-ups that have minimum electronics.
•Electrical Rating 120V, 30A
•Surge Suppression (Joules) 510 <- pathetic
•Max Spike Current 1,250A
•Cord Gauge 10/3
•Ground Fault Protection Yes
•Weather Resistant - Yes
•Lock Hasp Available - Yes
