The HW30C is excellent and you'll appreciate the inside display. My 50A version has 11 different error codes. And it also works with a 20A and 50A pedestal with adapters.
Expensive? Yes but my current cost is $0 considering I bought/installed it in 2004 and then moved it to the current rig. The hard wired version requires a data cable to be routed for the remote display which for me was more involved than connecting the power wires.
I've gotten every error code except for AC frequency. Saved the rig when I got 160V on a 30A pedestal at 10PM and it shut down the power.
