Oh shucks my 13 year old Oster, microwave decided to throw it's own lightning storm yesterday. Magnetrons and sea air don't play nice. Huge arc light through the view port.
Still didn't blow the MOVs and TVS meaning the board is still good. Time to play Grim Reaper and harvest organs.
Spike suppressors do pay off.

What is the correct definition of a "qualified RV dealer"? Sounds like Giant Shrimp to me...
A licensed electrician would be a better choice, would it not? Would that violate the manufacturer's warranty? If they say "No! No licensed electricians! Only a slob with a 6th grade education who works flat rate at an RV dealer!
I would run like hell.
