They say one definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result. Dont be so lazy, just pull it apart or if you cant handle that simple of a task take it in and have someone competent fix it. Dont be so cheap.

I think that the use of snake oil is often overrated. While a strong solvent might dissolve the junk in a carb, often the best way is to disassemble and do a proper cleaning. Even if the junk is freed, did all of it pass into the engine, or is some still in there waiting to clog things again?
