Here is an old thread where I tried to measure actual SOC after using a 90a draw compared with what Peukert table said (table linked in first post--ISTR smk found that for me)
Somewhere in there it dawned on me that my numbers were higher than Peukert because (I think) I was not going all the way down to 10.5v, so the batteries were able to make a comeback once the load was lifted.
With varying size draws and time between those, the battery can recover between work-outs. It is not a steady draw at the high amps till they are near dead.
I remember that thread!! I would agree. Peukert seems to have an immediate effect. High amp draws, the batteries "shrink" quickly, switch to low amp and it seems to gain that lost capacity back and then some.
