"If passing this law will save just one life..."
Sound familiar? Certain politicians don't care about the law abiding doing the right thing but are concerned more about the guilty party's rights and rehabilitation.
In other words, we, the law abiding, pay for the crimes of others, who commit those crimes over and over and over. After all, they were all abused as children and never had the chance to succeed in life and it is all our fault.
So I guess in their twisted minds and those who put them in office, we should be the ones to pay for their failures.
