To the OP, is your truck registered in CA? If they passed the law they would only have the ability to mandate for vehicles registered in the state, they couldn't stop folks from driving in from other states. Maybe change your US address to AZ or NM?

Also thinking about the service issues....I hung an air freshener too close to the blow n go and now the car won't start....
