Sure, you can see how well that has worked, you never see any drunk drivers anymore. Riiiight. You simply cannot cure stupid. Stupid people will find ways to act stupidly.
I agree completely, however it is a start and may cut down on some of it. Something like $500 for 1st offense, $1000 on 2nd, jail and loss of license on 3rd will stop some of it. It is rampant down here. You can tell without even looking at them in the car, just by their driving...
