Tee Moulding

How do you keep this moulding in the slot? I have a couple of piece that came off and do not want to stay in. Brads? Glue?
  • I had this problem. When build, for some reason they put silicone in there to hold the molding in. When it needed replaced, I had to scrape all of the old silicone out of the grooves to get the new molding to stay in at road speeds. Talk about a pain in the butt.
  • Normally, the silicone is only used at the ends and 90’s.

Edit: OP, do you mean the moulding that goes from carpet to linoleum and slips in a track?

No, one is around the bathroom sink and the other around a small cabinet top
  • Ahh, counter top edge molding. Use silicone and duct tape to hold it till dry.
  • My "T" molding is held in place with small staples at the bottom edge.

  • Oops, I was thinking the trim piece cover screws on outside of trailer.
