Hi BFL,
I think it is a case of Good, Better, and Best.
Good--some form of temperature compensation
Better, a probe in the battery compartment
Best, a sensor on the Negative battery post.
Today it is only 7 C and the Magnum inverter/charger--which has a sensor on the was doing 14.9 volts in Absorb.
I'll try to check it later when we get down to 0 C (late tonight, or tomorrow morning).
