BFL, put me in the camp that says temp in the battery compartment is accurate enough. Here in the summer when it's 108F/42C outside, the battery compartment is 108F/42C and the battery case, terminal and electrolyte are 108F/42C. BTW, it's still 100F/38C here. Forget that 0C crap. YUCK!
