Testing a converter?
How can I test a convert without pulling it? Thinking disconnect house battery while plugged into shore power and using a multimeter on the + & - but AC or DC what to set the meter on.

Set your meter on DC and measure at the battery
You are looking for voltage at least 13.2 assuming that batteries are currently charged
High charge should be over 14v
But if they have been charging for several days, the converter should be in float mode, and that is 13.2v or slightly above
