Testing a converter?
How can I test a convert without pulling it? Thinking disconnect house battery while plugged into shore power and using a multimeter on the + & - but AC or DC what to set the meter on.

For a very BASIC go/nogo test: Connect batteries, plug into shore power and check battery voltage; DC voltage should be between about 13.2 and 14.5. Lower, converter is not putting out, higher, converter is putting out too much voltage.
This is a very basic test, and does not really test how well the converter is able to preform.
