Very Cool NinerBikes! And what a price! Seems like it does everything you would need. Do you have any posts that describe your solar set-up. Are you just charging one battery? Since I have four 235ah GC batteries I have been thinking about solar as the next step but don't want to go to extreme, (due to budget). Thanks. Very nice video!!
If I was you, I'd get one of these in the 30 amp version, and get three 120W or two 150w panels, set them up portable, aim them, and bank on 17.5 to 21 or 22 AH charge rate for your bank of 4. Set it at 14.8V and forget it. Every month, turn off your power inside for an hour after the battery is showing 99% SOC, and bump the voltage in the winter, mid day, to 16.0V for 30 or 45 minutes, maybe an hour. Reset back to 14.8V and turn your load back on. Super simple. Confirm with a specific gravity reading that you got back up to where the SG belongs the first couple of attempts.
