Very Cool NinerBikes! And what a price! Seems like it does everything you would need. Do you have any posts that describe your solar set-up. Are you just charging one battery? Since I have four 235ah GC batteries I have been thinking about solar as the next step but don't want to go to extreme, (due to budget). Thanks. Very nice video!!
This is transitional. Last year, I was running a single group 24 and a 120w portable solar panel was enough, even for a group 31 at 110AH.
In Jan 2014, I picked up a used T 1275 at 150AH. Bigger battery, more amps, doubled my amps, still run a single battery in a 21 ft travel trailer. That particular battery required more watts, and adjustable voltage charge controller, and I took a more balanced approach, after changing battery size and amperage, by going bigger with the panel, and adjustable parameters, to suit my needs, for the charge controller. Some batteries, like group 31's and T-1275s, are a bit more maintenance and problematic to get fully charged... this is my solution to that problem, in my particular circumstance.
