Yep, that's it. Adjustable voltage, for odd shaped, poorly designed sweeper battery problem child batteries like mine, and the ability to do a top charge at 15.0V and an equalize charge too at 16.0V. So I can stir or shake my electrolyte to my hearts delight. Maybe even charge pretty darn close to a full 99 or 100% SOC off of a solar panel. I suppose yours does that too?
Otherwise, it's useless.
