with the low voltage output I am guessing you have an inertia controller and this won't tell anything by using the brake pedal while stopped. Does the controller have a manual control? if so try that. I would expect at least a few volts
I have not looked at the electric brakes yet but be careful applying power without the drums on, it is possible they could over travel and come apart or break. I would place the drum on and hold it while someone applies the manual lever, the drum should tighten up when applied.
I suspect the iPhone compass would work with GPS instead of magnets
Thank you, this was helpful. Doing any of this without the drums on was one of my concerns. GPS is only accurate to within several feet which is why it didn't seem likely that that's how the compass worked.
