thawing a cold soaked fridge

Hi,

I was away for two weeks and winterized the RV. I'm heating 100% electrically and am doing one of my "back yard" experiments.

But, does anyone have any idea how long I should wait before starting the fridge up? I did leave some items which can survive being frozen--and this morning after 12 hours everything inside the fridge is still frozen.

Should I simply tread it as an ice box for now? It would be easy to freeze bottles as it is -22.4 C (-8.4 f).

    That's probably how I would treat it. Not likely to master though because if you turn it on nothing will happen until it need to cool. There are no moving parts in most adsorption refrigerators with the exception of the fan (if you have added one)
