Once again, a great thread and an enthusiastic "thank you" to the many who have contributed knowledge and/or skepticism--both are important, IMO.
FWIW, I worry that we are holding both the product and the experts to too high a standard. The experts are just human and the product is just $400. Do either have to be perfect?
In particular I want to thank Prof95 for sticking with it and for continuing to contribute these great little bitlets about carbs, etc.
This is great news regarding CPE's expanding product line. Myself, I probably can't invent a reason to buy the 1000i, but according to the blurt from Dennis at CPE, there's also a larger inverter gennie on the horizon, which I think Prof95 alluded to also. That one may replace my 3500/4000.
Looking at the Amazon link, it states a 3-6 week fulfillment. Doesn't sound to me like they're ready to ship yet.
